Imagery Data Management
IDM was developed by TerraFrame with its partner Zivaro for the United States federal government as a cloud-based solution that cost-effectively stores, manages, processes, and shares imagery collected from unmanned aerial vehicles. It automates the ingest process, data delivery, and capture of the standard specifications for metadata and data formats. Large amounts of data can be reliably uploaded to the cloud with intermittent internet connectivity and poor bandwidth. IDM is an official application on GeoPlatform.gov (https://www.geoplatform.gov/apps), which is the site mandated by the Geospatial Data Act of 2018 to make data from US agencies and bureaus Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
